Yes politics are politics, but I must say today is a proud day to be an American, because I think we have elected a president and a leader that speaks to wide range of people.

I think our view throughout the world will significantly improve (and I know several folks have emailed their opinions from many different countries on my Ozu-san website).

Yes policies are important, but I also think a President reflects the character of a nation, and for that I am proud to be an American on this day and moving forward!!!

Clap Dance

... but the news that the California Prop 8 was approved is a bit disheartening for the civil rights movement. Embarassed Crying or Very sad

Makes you wonder what kind of difference Hollywood studio executives could have made if they're weren't so Oscar-season focused and released MILK in October. I may be wrong, but I'd wager if that film was released pre-election, California might have voted against Prop 8. Evil or Very Mad

Thanks Grobe... I provided Ryan with a bunch of samples based on what he had in mind. The logo he selected kind of uses a combined variety of ideas from other team logos.

Our goal is to have team logos for every team by the start of the 15th season (which is next year)!!! We pretty much have all 10 teams but a couple (O's, United, Lightning) still need to fine tweak them before they are official.

NFL Fun Fact of the Day

Forever Linked?

Here is the statistic for All-Time Starts by a Quarterback Under One Head Coach.......

Coach - Quarterback - Starts Together

1}. Don Shula & Dan Marino..............184 {Miami Dolphins}

2}. Chuck Noll & Terry Bradshaw.......158 {Pittsburgh Steelers}

3}. Hank Stram & Len Dawson..........157 {Kansas City Chiefs}

4}. Marv Levy & Jim Kelly...................153 {Buffalo Bills}

5}. Don Shula & Bob Griese...............151 {Miami Dolphins}

6}. Dan Reeves & John Elway............142 {Denver Broncos}

7}. Jeff Fisher & Steve McNair............131 {Tennessee Titans}

8}. Andy Reid & Donovan McNabb......125 {Philadelphia Eagles}*

*Active through week 15, 2008

Side Note/Opinion: Although John Elway started 142 games for Dan Reeves, he is probably more linked with Mike Shanahan by the average fan. This is probably due to the fact that even though Elway only started 59 games for Shanahan over 4 seasons, they were able to win 2 Superbowls together.

Great stats as always KC Whoa...the only question is, will McNabb & Reid overtake McNair & Fisher @ # 7 ? I'll say YES... Confused

Great stats Grobe... I was thinking about this the other week wondering where McNabb and Reid placed all-time. Interesting, I actually thought they would be higher up... Hopefully Jason's prediction is true and they will be (unless Philly wants to kick out another great franchise player)!!

Thanks guys!! To answer your question Jason, and agree with E-Rock, I really hope that the Reid & McNabb combination continues here in Philadelphia. If McNabb starts the last 3 games of this season and then was able to start 15 games next season, he would overtake the Reeves & Elway combination for 6th place all-time. So I'm going to say YES, McNabb will be the starting quarterback next season for the Eagles.

I just don't understand all this Reid and McNabb bashing I hear from fans all the time. They've done nothing but given us exciting and competitive fooball games over the last 10 years. What other coach and/or quarterback that is out there would these people rather have? Ok, maybe Bill Cowher if he comes out of retirement but who else? What other quarterback would we start next season that would be better than Donovan McNabb? Confused

Well, do you think the Jet's would take our 2009 first round pick for him or do you think we would have to give up Westbrook as well? Laughing

Maybe we can get Brad Johnson from the Cowboys? He has a Superbowl ring. Think

NFL Fun Fact of the Day

The Detroit Lions are 2 losses away from going 0-16 this season.

Fun Fact

Arrow Since the NFL moved to a 16 game schedule in 1978, no team in the NFL has ever gone winless {0-16} over the course of the season.

Arrow The 1976 expansion Tampa Bay Buccaneers went winless {0-14} and are the only team in the Super Bowl era (1966 and on) to lose every game.

Arrow The 1960 Dallas Cowboys were the last winless team before that, going {0-11-1} during the then, 12 game season.

NFL Fun Fact of the Day

When the NFL/AFL merged in 1970, the new NFL (with 26 teams) allowed a "Wild Card" team or non-division winner into the playoffs for the first time.

Since the wildcard system was instituted some 38 years ago, every team to win 11 games has qualified for post-season play with the exception of.......

Arrow Denver Broncos {11-5} in 1985

Arrow New England Patriots {11-5} in 2008

That is amazing!!! Kind of a shame for the Patriots, but they’ve won enough. Very Happy

Not to change the subject of the "Fun Fact" but isn't there always some weird stat/streak about the team that losses the previous Superbowl failing to make the playoffs the following season???

Thanks for asking H Exclamation . Toledo Tormenta (aka Noah Ryan) was born Friday June 19th at 10:50am C-section weighing in at 8 lbs even and measuring 20 inches. Both baby and mommy are doing well. He's already thinking about who he is taking with his first pick in the draft (pick 21) Any suggestions for the little guy?

You‘re not picking until the 3rd round! You’ll take a TE because the middle of round #2 and into the middle of round #3 this league will see the biggest run on TE’s in its 15 year history. I’m sure your new boy will like all those TE’s. I’m also sure his future boyfriend will enjoy his TE someday. Congratulations on the baby ass hole.

With the 21st pick in the draft, Toledo Tormenta takes "FUDGE". According to our scout Kyle Stamm, FUDGE is the best TE he has ever seen......or BEEN INSIDE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Laughing Laughing Laughing Laughing Laughing

Well....Tiger won last week and the week before. Will he make it 3 in a row? After the first round at The PGA this week, guess who has the lead. He's the man!

Ditto!! Dance

Our present to you Shhh

Leaving Zach Miller (that was painful to watch on many levels), Lee Evans and Sidney Rice on the bench - and we could even throw in Palmer to the list. d'oh!

McNabb - 22
DeAngelo - 21
Turner - 8
Burelson - 2
Walter - 3
Heath Miller - 18
Akers - 10
Pats - 20
Total = 104

instead of

Palmer - 27
DeAngelo - 21 (Sorry Birthday Boy)
Turner - 8 (Maybe LT2 will blow up tonight for 35 points to really make me feel bad - I mean you good)
Lee Evans - 16
Sidney Rice - 11 (I was this close to starting him instead of walter Embarassed )
Zach Miller - 33
Akers - 10
Pats - 20
Total = 146

I knew I needed to keep it below 120 for you to win

Now blow out you candles and while you're at it blow it up your Booty Shake

HAPPY BIRTHDAY
